EASTER EGG HUNT IN BRAMCOTE CLASS
It might have been chilly out, but that didn't stop us having our easter egg hunt in the Foundation gardens. We managed to find 12 eggs, and then we went inside to eat some chocolate! Yummy!

BEAT FEET MUSIC SESSION
We had an amazing morning today when Bo, a musician, came to visit us and taught us how to play different rhythms using a range of 'junk' materials. We played music on dustbins, saucepans and broomsticks, to name but a few. We had a wonderful time. Maybe you could look around your house and garden for objects you could make music with.

The children have all worked incredibly hard today as we launched our special book for World Book Day, called 'Old Hat'. We have retold the story and we have also been busy designing and making our own unique hats. I was blown away with the children's innovative ideas, so creative! Well done everyone!

We made the most of the Winter sunshine today and went outside for a colour walk. We took colour charts with us and tried to find as many objects as we could which matched the colours on our card. We think we did really well. What do you think? The children were so excited to take their cards home and they all said they'd do some colour hunting in their homes and gardens!

We have read so many different Elmer stories [and we still have lots more to read too], so we thought we would make our own Elmer puppets so we could re tell our favourite stories. We all followed the instructions very carefully. The trickiest part was drawing around the Elmer shaped stencil.
