Our Trip to White Post Farm
Summer Term 2
On the farm
This term's topic is 'On the farm'. We will be starting our topic with an educational visit to White Post Farm. Check back for photos of our trip!
This term we have loved having our class caterpillars. We were lucky enough to watch five tiny caterpillars grow bigger and bigger before making their cocoons. They stayed inside for nearly two weeks before emerging as beautiful butterflies!
Have a look at our pictures below.
As part of our Creepy Crawly Calypso topic we have been learning about different minibeasts. This week we have read the story Superworm and learnt all about worms and their importance for our ecosystems. In groups we made our own wormerys to watch the worms at work!
People who help us - Police
This week we have had an exciting visit from a police officer. We learnt about the role of a police officer and had a close look at all of the important equipment they have to carry. We were then very excited to have a sit in the panda car and we even got to sound the sirens and flash the lights!
Thursday 24th May
