Children early years make a strong start to their school career.
Children in early years enjoy their learning and they are encouraged to be independent learners. The learning environment in early years is well organised and promotes independence.
Welcome to Neptune and Uranus classes.
Neptune Class: Mrs Clark (Teacher), Mrs Payne (Teaching Assistant), Mrs Garner (Teaching Assistant)
Uranus Class: Mrs Heysmond (Teacher and EYFS lead), Miss Bingham (Teaching Assistant). Mrs Payne and Mrs Garner will also support our learning and Mrs Clark will take us for Welly Wednesday sessions.
At KPS we are a Rights Respecting School. This means that we aim to, learn about, understand and demonstrate the rights afforded to children by the UN Convention on Children's Rights.
This is our class charter for the 2021/22 academic year, focusing on children's right to rest, relax and play and to take part in cultural and creative activities.
Week beginning 7th December
The children made these winter pictures using lots of different techniques. They used water colours, painting, collage and finger painting. We think they look amazing, what do you think?
Week beginning 30th November 2020
This week we began to innovate the story of Mr Wiggle and Mr Waggle. The children received a letter from Mr Wiggle and Mr Waggle saying that they were tired of having to go up and down the hill and were looking for somewhere new to live!
We created a winter wonderland for them to live in instead. The children came up with new ways that Mr Wiggle and Waggle had to move instead of up and down. Some of the ideas were slip and slide, hop hop hop and shuffle shuffle shuffle!
