Tomorrow, we will assess the situation following the government's announcement. At this time, we have no additional information than that given in the news briefing. We will be in touch as soon as we have complete clarification. Please give us time to respond and draw up a plan which we can work with. We will not be able to answer questions and queries in the morning and I ask that you are patient.
I'm sure you will agree that this is an extraordinary time for us all and I also ask you to remember that staff in schools also have their own families, care for vulnerable people and are anxious and scared too. We need to pull together, be kind and support each other in any way we are able to do so.
School will continue as usual for all children and we will continue to show them strength and reassurance. I'm sure you will all join me in thanking the staff at KPS for their calmness and support over what has been a very difficult few days.
May I take this opportunity to thank you for your many kind words - it means an awful lot to us all. We will be in touch tomorrow.
Lisa Turner-Rowe and team KPS.
