Kimberley Primary School

Headteacher's Welcome

It is my privilege to be the Headteacher of Kimberley Primary School and Nursery and I welcome you to our school website. Whilst we benefit from the collaboration of being part of the East Midlands Education Trust, Kimberley remains a unique school where the inclusive curriculum is devised to meet the needs of all of our pupils and their local community, ensuring we cater for both emotional and academic growth. We are also one of the few schools locally to have our own school nursery and we welcome pupils aged 3-11.

At Kimberley, our rules are simple - we are kind, prepared and safe and these thread through all we do. As a Unicef Right's Respecting School, it is important to us that our pupils grow up with an ambition to achieve their true potential and know their own worth in life. Our 'GREAT' values, where pupils are taught to be gracious, resilient, empathetic, ambitious and thoughtful/tolerant are entwined in all we do and work hand in hand with our simple school rules.

Our building, on Swingate, is modern yet still retains that traditional community feel which has developed over time from when the original school building was opened in 1883 closer to the centre of Kimberley.  The majority of our pupils continue education in Kimberley once they leave us, transferring to The Kimberley School

If you would like to find out more about the trust we are part of (EMET) please visit their website via this link  East Midlands Education Trust Website

I hope this website gives you a glimpse of what life is like for pupils at Kimberley, however the best way is to see it in action. If you would like to come and view our school, please do not hesitate to contact the school office to arrange an appointment.

It will be my privilege to show you what Kimberley has to offer.
