    Additional PE opportunities at KPS during 2025/2026
    In addition to the lessons taught by our teaching staff and our Resident Sports Coach, the children of KPS are provided with the following sporting opportunities:
     

    • Key Stage Specific Dance, delivered by a qualified dance coach across a 6-week unit.
    • Wheelchair Sports, delivered to children from Year 1 to 6 by an external qualified sports coach across a 6 week unit culminating in a Trust wide competition for children who would not usually participate in sporting events. This provider also offers and after school club, details of which will be posted on the schools Dojo. 
    • Urban Hockey, delivered by a specialist coach to each phase (KS1, LKS2 and UKS2) across a 6-week unit. This provider also offers and after school club, details of which will be posted on the schools Dojo.
    • Chance 2 Shine Cricket, delivered by coaches from Trent Bridge throughout the summer term to children in each Key Stage (TBC).

    Swimming at KPS
    For the 2025/2026 academic year, the schools swimming provision will be provided by Nottingham City Schools Swimming Service at Harvey Haddon Sports Village.
