UKS2 Campaign to Improve the Local Environment
The children in Year 5 & 6 want to improve our local area. They know they have the right to be listened to and to have their views taken seriously. To begin their campaign, they undertook and walk around the local area to see what problems and issues there were. They are now writing letters to the local council to put forward their views and suggestions, and hopefully help make our environment a better place.
