We are delighted that we can now plan for a return to KPS club.🤗 Apologies in advance for the very long message!
Both breakfast and afterschool club will, for the short term, be held in our main hall. Drop off and collection will be by the Hall entrance.
We know there is a high expectation from the families we support, and our approach must have a strong focus on minimising the risk of infection, this will be done by mirroring all of the processes that have already been implemented successfully by our school. It will include:
•Main hall will be split into 4 'bubbles: nursery reception/ KS1 yr 1 & 2/ Lowers KS2 yr 3 & 4/ Upper KS2 yr 5 & 6
• each area will have an eating space for breakfast and light snack at teatime. Food will be served to children by staff.
•regular hand washing - on arrival, before leaving the hall, re-entering the hall after outside play, after coughing or sneezing or going to the toilet and before / after eating.
•toilet near the hall to be used by pupils
• regular recording of cleaning of any tables/ surfaces by KPS Playleader and Play Assistant
• Play will be either on tables or mats.
We are lucky enough that we have the ability to play outdoors as much as possible, weather permitting and this will further reduce the risk of transmission whilst also providing our children with some much-needed fun after such a challenging time.
- Football /tennis
- Outdoor equipment tbc
- Running track challenges, hopscotch etc.
Collection from KPS Club
•pupils to be collected from the Hall entrance, no parents to be allowed inside, signing out to be completed by HH or HP
•HH HP to clean any surfaces/ tables before leaving
• If any child becomes ill we will follow the plan as described in our school risk assessment and parent/ carer will be contacted immediately.
Every effort will be made to encourage our pupils to play safely and follow our new rules, however we know that this is not always possible as our children gravitate towards their friends, 🤦♀️🤦♂️and these friendships aren't necessarily in the same bubble. Please be assured we will do our very best.
Bookings for September 2020📆
Any future bookings must be made initially via our Term time booking form. Please advise if this is ongoing or a short term booking.
Any additional sessions must be made via the adhoc booking form.
If you are registering a new pupil please ensure that you have read the operational policy before signing your contract.

Dear Parents & Carers,
Please ensure that you have read and understood our operational policy which we are now issuing to all of our parents. This is also available on our Facebook page.
To make a booking you must first be registered with KPS Club.
Once booked, payment must be made and we cannot cancel, refund or rearrange a breakfast, early bird collection or afterschool session.
Unless you have a pre-existing booking please ensure that 24 hours notice is given for booking breakfast and afterschool sessions. We are very flexible with regards to notice for early bird collection.
